Star of the Week - Ethan!

Congratulations to Ethan for being our star of the week! Ethan is a big helper in K1 and is always caught doing the right thing! He is a big leader when we are at specials, too! Thank you for being awesome, Ethan! We are glad you are in K1!

Yum Yum Applesauce!

What an apple filled week! We learned about the life cycle of an apple, all the parts of an apple, and how to make apple sauce! We even had a math/science lesson on all the ways we could sort apples! We came up with sorting them by color, size, sticker/no sticker, bruises/no bruises, stem/no stem!

 Step One- Wash your hands and wash the apples!

With our freshly washed hands, we started cutting our apples down to small little pieces!

Next, comes the SUGAR... I think that's our favorite part! ;-)

Wow that's a lot of sugar!

Next, we STIR!

Then, we put in the brown sugar!

 Don't forget the cinnamon!!

Next comes the oven! Only adults can use the oven, but we can help turn it on!

Can't forget the last step... Cleaning!
