Thankful for K1

Sorry this Thanksgiving post is a week late!!

We have so many things to be thankful for this year but one thing that is at the top of MY thankful list is K1! I couldn't have asked for a sweeter group of kiddos that I get to spend my days with! I love this class and am so thankful for them! Look at these crazy Turkeys!

Nate won the Turkey Trot during P.E. for the kindergarten boys! Way to go, Nate!

November 6-8

We have been talking about types of energy in science - water, wind, and solar. In math, we have been working on COMPOSING numbers which is our start to addition. We have learned that if we take two small numbers and join them, they make a new bigger number! During AWARD time (Always Writing and Reading Daily) we have been reading books about Fall, pumpkins, thanksgiving, halloween, and more!
