Laura Numeroff

We are starting an author study on Laura Numeroff this week. She is the author of all the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" books. Today we read the book and discussed SEQUENCING! We got to create our own mouse puppet and sequence the events on the story (on the back). We also got to learn on teach your monster to read on computers, reading and spelling apps on iPads, and we worked on spelling our sight words with magnet letters on the chalk board. Some of us will have to finish our puppets tomorrow!
