Today was a busy day in K1! We got to go to library and check out books for the first time! When we returned we were left a CLUE! It led us on a scavenger hunt through out the school to meet all the authority figures in our school - Nurse Pam, Ms. Amy and Ms. Tamara in the office, Dr. Penny, Mr. Gollner, and Ms. Horton our counselor! It was so fun getting to explore our school community!
In K1 we wrote letters to patriot's in our community - fire fighters and police men/women in honor or Patriot Day today! We also practiced writing our name and made sure to write a capital letter at the beginning with the other letters all lowercase! We will keep practicing this this year!
