Math Stations!
We've been talking and learning ALL about numbers the past few weeks in math. Ask your child to "count down from 20" "what do numbers in the teens start with" and ask them what SUBITIZING is! We've also been talking about how to be accurate counters - slowing down, counting aloud, touch each object, and more!

MATH STATIONS
Mr. Gollner, our assistant principal came and shared his "me bag" so we can learn all about him! We LOVED having in K1. We learned he loves to fish, he has 2 kids, and he LOVES science. He even showed us a science investigation! He lit an empty tea bag on fire and we learned that hot air rises so it floated up!
The last 30-45 minutes of our day we do "FREE CENTERS" this is a time for them to explore and play in K1! I think it is probably everyones favorite part of the day!
